Giavanna Lupi is a senior Marketing major and Communications minor at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. She is originally from Delaware County, PA, and spends her summers in Wildwood, NJ.
Gia’s studies at Saint Joe’s have helped her gain important skills such as creating marketing plans, using certain technologies to create videos, and using specific softwares such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
After graduation this spring, Gia plans on spending the summer in Wildwood as she usually does. Then after working in Wildwood for the summer season, she will begin work in her studies. She hopes to work for a digital media company, where she can work on social media marketing. Her goal is for it to be some kind of fashion company.
On campus, Gia is involved in the American Marketing Association. Before COVID, she used to be the club captain for Love Your Melon. Unfortunately, this club was disbanded due to the pandemic, since it involved visiting children battling cancer.
In her free time, Gia enjoys working out and watching reality television. Since she lives in Manayunk, she and her friends love to go out to the bars or out to eat. While in Wildwood during the summer, she enjoys hanging out at the beach or on boats with her friends.
Gia’s favorite memory of Saint Joe’s is her freshman year as a whole. After growing up with only two siblings, she thoroughly enjoyed getting to be around a bunch of different people in her new home. There were always people to be with and there was always something to do. She met great people her first year here, giving her an amazing start to the past four years.
