As the holiday season rapidly approaches, Starbucks has come out with several seasonal drinks to get you into the holiday spirit. Whether that be the infamous Peppermint Mocha, the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte with almond milk, or the Caramel Brulée Latte, all of the options will make your mouth water. With Starbucks being right by Saint Joseph’s University’s campus, the opportunities for students to get into the holiday spirit are endless. Click here to check out all that Starbucks has to offer.

Along with a full menu of holiday drink options, cold and hot, Starbucks is also known for their red cups. The Starbucks red cups are a widely-known symbol for holiday spirit. When the red cup season starts, Christmas music can begin. Click here to read about this year’s editions of the red cups.

We decided to sit down with a couple of Saint Joseph’s University students and get their take on the holiday drinks that Starbucks has to offer. We got the reactions of Jennifer Cardamone and Illana Adams trying their holiday drink choices on video. Click here to see.

The reactions were mixed from both Jennifer and Illana. Jennifer really liked the Peppermint Mocha Latte. She thought that it was sweet and that all of the different ingredients worked very well together. On the other hand, Illana was not a huge fan of her Iced Sugar Cookie Latte, rating it a 5/10. Before Starbucks red cup season comes to a close go out and try a new seasonal drink. Although ingredient lists may steer some away from trying new things, I highly suggest taking advantage of these limited edition drink opportunities. After all, you never know until you try it.
