Every year leading up to Thanksgiving we are bombarded with ads reminding us of the biggest sales of the year, all happening on Black Friday. Many stores offer crazy discounts to participate in this yearly tradition and thousands of shoppers line up outside stores to take advantage of these sales. In this COVID environment however, we’ve been told to limit gatherings and wear a mask to say safe. Since Black Friday is notorious for big crowds, what is it going to look like this year? Is Black Friday dead? Will “Cyber Monday” take its place for good?
