Come one, come all! As the annual Manayunk Mummers Mardi Gras parade quickly approaches, some new comers may wonder where to go in order to escape the cold or just to grab a bite to eat.  The parade begins at eleven and goes until 6, perfect timing to grab breakfast before hand or dinner afterwards. Main street is the perfect place to go to in order to find somewhere to eat. Ranging from breakfast at Winnie’s to dinner at Lucky’s.

Winnie’s is a restaurant on main street that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is an affordable place to eat and has great service if you’re looking for somewhere to eat fairly quickly.

If you’re looking for a healthier option, Couch Tomato is right on main street and serves a lot of gluten free and vegetarian options. The food is served in smaller portions, but are perfectly filling. Even though it is healthier food, Couch Tomato is also very affordable.

Brew pub is often a very popular place to go, especially for those who are twenty-one and up. They are known for their many different kinds of crafted beer. They also serve different kinds of food ranging from sushi to burgers. They have a lot of seating, and usually have a live band playing.

Lucky’s is an all time favorite at Saint Joseph’s University. A lot of people are crave their burgers and tater tots. It is well priced and has many different, fun options that you do not see on many other restaurants menus.

Regardless of where you pick, main street is full of different options to choose from, and most of them are affordable. These four places are four of my favorites.
