The clock strikes midnight on November 1st. You might still be in your Halloween costume, but you immediately start blasting Christmas music. Does this sound like you? Do your friends continuously yell at you for skipping over the so called “best holiday” Thanksgiving? If you answer yes, let’s be real, you probably celebrate Christmas all year long. If you do, here are some things to do in early November that will accept your early Christmas cheer!

Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park

Right outside of City Hall, you can enjoy an ice skating rink that is opening this weekend! Admission to the rink is only $5 and you can rent skates for an extra $10. This is a great way to start doing Christmas season stuff, all while the city is your backdrop.

Franklin Square Holiday Festival

Also opening this weekend is the Electric Spectacle: A Holiday Light Show at Franklin Square. This event is FREE and runs Thursdays through Sundays, with shows every 30 minutes. Go grab your friends and enjoy a fun, cheap night in the city filled with beautiful Christmas lights!

25 Days of Christmas

Although Freeform’s official 25 Days of Christmas doesn’t start until December 1st, you can still enjoy some of your favorite Christmas movies starting in November as part of their countdown to the 25 Days of Christmas! The countdown begins November 18th and goes until November 30th. Some of the great Christmas movies they will be playing are Elf, Home Alone, and The Year Without a Santa Claus. Watch with your roommates for a good study break!
