October 6: Philadelphia 76er’s vs The Boston Celtics at The Wells Fargo Center
Get ready for some Philadelphia basketball by going to the 76ers preseason game vs the Boston Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:00 pm on October 6th! Preseason games are much more inexpensive than regular season games and you’ll get a glimpse of players like the 2017 #1 overall pick Markelle Fultz, J.J. Reddick, Ben Simmons, and Joel Embiid.
October 7: The International Dragon Boat festival at Boathouse Row
Every year on the Schuylkill River an event called The International Dragon Boat festival takes place, where people gather together to celebrate the ancient chinese tradition of Dragon Boat racing. You can either register to be in the boat festival with a team or just go along to grab a bite and see the race at beautiful Boathouse Row at 8 am- 5:30 pm!

October 8: Old City Fest
Looking for a day trip that has free admission and embodies the whole Philadelphia experience? Head over to North 3rd Street and Arch Street on October 8th at 11 am to 6 pm to the creative Old City Fest that will be taking place. The cobblestone streets will turn into a showcase for artists, designers, restaurants, galleries, and theatres. This celebration will have delicious food, a fashion show from designers Erdon, The Geisha House, Meadowsweet Mercantile and Rennes and live entertainment throughout the entire day!
