With social events constantly going on in the world around us, especially those in college, we often feel the need to attend all of them. Seeing friends have a good time is something we don’t want to miss out on. Whether it be at a sporting event or house party off campus, we want to be a part of it, whether it’s first hand or through social media. Our advice – don’t always worry about it. These types of social functions occur regularly, and will always be going on throughout the course of the year. Instead, break away from the status-quo, and check out these seasonal events in the Philadelphia area that you’ll be sure to “fall” in love with.

Bloktoberfest

Lastly, how could we discuss fall events in Philly without throwing in an Oktoberfest celebration. On October 14 from noon to eight, on 18th and South street, is held one of the best. Bloktoberfest, like most events of its kind, has a very wide variety of seasonal foods and craft beers, spread out over multiple blocks. Additionally, Bloktoberfest annually features free live music on an event stage; headlining this year is Bent Knee!
