On the grounds, there is a beautiful multi-level garden with many different species of vibrant flowers that one can explore and learn about due to their species tags. However, the Barnes Arboretum is more than a spot to go for a pretty walk in the garden. There are many areas to hang out or do homework or set up a hammock to relax under the changing foliage.

There are also open lawn areas where you can put a blanket down to picnic or throw a frisbee. Picnic tables are scattered around the grounds that are perfect for relaxing and doing work.

There are beautiful trees on the lawn and flowers in the garden that contribute to the serenity felt in the atmosphere.
